MAiD for You? Saskatoon
A Conversation on Canada’s MAiD Expansion to Mental Health and What’s at Stake
May 11 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Canada’s MAiD law is changing, and many are not aware of how far it has
expanded. Beginning in March 2027, eligibility will include individuals whose sole
underlying condition is mental illness.
This spring, a province wide tour will feature Larry Worthen, Executive Director of
the Christian Medical and Dental Association of Canada, and one of Canada’s
leading voices on healthcare ethics, conscience rights, and Medical Assistance in
Dying.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Learn how MAiD is evolving in Canada, with real stories from healthcare settings
- Explore the ethical, medical, and social questions being raised
- Consider how we support those who are suffering and seeking hope
